A critical/analytical Virgo; very particular. In an open-minded way. Trying to be careful, sensitive, respectful and kind to everyone. If they deserve it. Or even it they don''t seem to. But i fade out from uncongenial situations, conversations.

Feeling the need to surround ourselves with beautiful things ... everything we have and use should be efficient, economical to produce from natural materials, and looking good but not pretentious. Comfortable to live with. (I.e. not modern cars).
All of which is a significant part of making the world a better place.
My work is designing beautiful wooden boats, and helping folk to build them. They find it useful experience in careful skilled creative work, and very satisfying. And good fun. The designs are a clever blend of traditional styles with more modern methods and performance.
Also busy with traditional music, storytelling, writing, reading, mediaeval calligraphy, photographing, modelmaking.
I am fascinated with the West Coast, and the Isle of Skye; the cultural, musical traditions and folklore of the outer edge of Europe. And the Celtic way of being.
But still am too independent. Lacking family life and community; but there is always hope for new friends and good changes.
